	Completing stock on a 10 Gal
Cory_Di Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 7953 Kudos: 2917 Votes: 25 Registered: 19-Dec-2002	I'm helping my nephew complete his stock on his 10 gal. Currently, it has 3 zebra danios and 2 cories. I could round out the danios with another 2-3 pearl danios or something. Ideas?

Both of these fish desire company in the form of their own kind, but cories need it more than danios. Plus, I like cories a lot more, since they are helpful in cleaning up the tank's bottom. They are also beautiful fish. I just love the mouths, and the dorsal fins that cories have! And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

seedkiros Mega Fish Posts: 974 Kudos: 270 Votes: 8 Registered: 07-Mar-2003	I'd rather add 4 more cories of the same species, small cories though. Have you decided which ones you want? I'd go with panda cories, but they require a bit more maintenance. How old is your nephew by the way?

There were three, but one died unexpectedly a month or so after we got them. Maybe we'll add two cories and two danios. I'll have to keep after him for weekly water changes. He has jullii.
