well this morning when i woke up i went to feed my fish in my 60g and to my suprise they were all dead.
Cause of death: filter vibrating against glass.
so now all my fish are dead exept for my BN so today im going to take back my filter and get another 1 in replace of it.

You know what the sad thing is my rams, kribs, swords and angels were breeding and my tank was near completion.

How exactly would the filter vibrating against the glass kill fish?

Wow! That's terrible to hear! I suppose the waves of vibrations must have gone through the water and just overwhelmed the fish. They 'sense' things in the water, rather than hear, so I assume they were 'sensed' to death. Poor fish. At least one survived.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

it was an internal power filter by (can i say the brand name?) resun. The magnet where the impellor sits wore down and it started shaking and theyre for killed my almost finished tank].

Wouldn't it make more sense to believe that the filter simply stopped working and your bacterial filter was destroyed overnight? I mean, what's really suggesting that the vibrations killed your fish? You might want to look for something else wrong here.

my filter was working as i could hear it from my room the grinding was that lound and when i rested my hand on the tank it was vibratig. You know how they say dont tap the glass of a fish tank! well imagine that but for 24 hours straight. and i only did a water change 2 days before and everything was normal
ph-6.8
ammoni-0.0
and the fish were healthy. so now im going to invest in a cannister filter.

Well, why is the earliest thing I can remember as a child being told about the fish "don't tap the glass!". In theory I would say that if there were constant soundwaves vibrating through the water, the fishies would succumb to the stress and keel over.

i play 400 watts rms of bass that shakes 3 floors of an apartment building everyfday for over a year n my sub faces my main tank everything shakes n my fish r fine heathly n have show quality colours i dont think the vibrations killed the fish over night maybe an electrical surge
the dont tap on glass is cuz of the direct n sharp short wave length at a hi frequency going thro the water slam a door n fish dart play loss frequency bass that shakes floors fish r fine
my eels actually come out n watch my woofer cone pound during music like metalica with higher treble

good choice of music Brybenn we live right next to a train track, we get waves in the bath if a train goes past, that doesnt seem to bother them, altho they dont like it if i let the cupboard door slam on the unit they are on!

thanks and yes a quick sharp bang liek a door slammin sends out a hi frequency short wave length n scares them music dont botherthem

think about the fish that live in rapid water or the constant vibrations of a bubbler or the water flow from a hob filter
its all relative
