I have several fish in my tank I would like to give away. Look at my profile to see them, they are in the 10 gallon. I want to get convicts and start a planted tank. What ways can i get rid of them humanely?

again, giving them to a lfs would be the best. i wouldn't recommend convict breeding if you are having a difficult time managing small tanks, as with convicts you must have enough tanks to house many spawns of young.

Giving them to an LFS or someone else who can take care of them would be the best way. Many LFS will take fish or even give you store credit or cash for them.

I reiterate what has been already said, contact your LFS's to see who will take them. Not all stores will take public fish, however, so don't just show up with some fish hoping to have them take them, call around first. Don't expect to get much, if anything, in return. Wholesale prices are about as good as you're gonna get.
