	Doesn't clean his tank?
IhAvEsOmEfIsH Hobbyist Posts: 145 Kudos: 95 Votes: 2 Registered: 13-Aug-2004	I have a friend who clames his brother has never changed the water and has never performed more than 2 minutes of maintance every 2 months. (He replaces the filter cartridge) I asked him how it was possibble and he said that he has a perfect ballance of fish. I've seen that tank before its crystal clear and the fish look healthy. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions

chumpp_308 Small Fry Posts: 7 Kudos: 10 Votes: 0 Registered: 12-Aug-2004	in my old 10 gal i only did two water changes in a year n i never scrubed or anything. all i did was change the filter cartidge evry month. but i only had 4 medium sized fish in it. when i found out about all the stuff you should do to your tank i was amazed my fish survived at all.

JQW Fish Addict Posts: 869 Kudos: 758 Registered: 09-Apr-2003	[font color="#000080"]in natural aquariums, all is needed is toping up the water that's been evaporated. there is no need to feed the fish, or change any water. but a huge aquarium with tons of plants are needed never thought a 30G can accomplish that
