I've never heard of anyone keeping them, but if you have an aquarium large enough, you can keep any fish...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

Dogfish are not relatively common fish to keep in the aquarium. Bamboo Sharks, Epaullette Sharks, and such are much more common. So admittedly I haven't heard of anyone that has kept these in their home.

Why is this in General Freshwater?

Anyway, there are some dogfish species that stay about 10-12", but I've never heard of them being imported for the aquarium trade.

That's because those tiny sharks are deepwater species, so are nigh impossible to get in the first place.:%)

When racso and I went deep sea fishing in Maine, a dogfish was the only thing I caught (he didn't catch anything ). I really don't see how these could be kept in an aquarium very easily, unless it was AT LEAST a 150g tank and that's if the dogfish was the only fish in there. I personally didn't see anything too special about them that would make them a desirable aquarium addition, but that's just me.
