I was interested in a F8 or GS puffer, and would get a 35-40 gal. tank. Since I'm still *fairly* new to the fish world, what would I have to do to care for a brackish tank? Also, what kind of setups do f8's or green spotted like? For those puffer owners, which one do you prefer, and which one is easier (so to speak) to care for? If there are pictures of the setup, it would be gladly appreciated.

Here are 2 great articles on them:

Figure 8 Puffer: http://www.aaquaria.com/aquasource/8puffer.shtml

GSP: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/BrackishSubWebIndex/gspsart.htm

You are welcome to check out my tanks: http://wetwebfotos.com/Home?actionRequest=userview&userID=1918

Figure 8 pufers are easier to keep. They require low-end BW, stay 1/2 the size of GSPs & are nicer (allow more variety of tank mates). GSPs prefer SW as adults.
