Hi all,

So, I've got myself a whole new set of fish for my juwel 180.

See the image (with thanks to aqadvisor.com) for details of the curent stock.

As the title suggests, I'm after a couple or so of larger fish, what do you all think?... Gourami's?

Thanks,

Moose

I'm not sure on the feature fish, but I'd just like to throw in a small concern about nippy black widows and guppy tails.

Are they getting along OK so far?

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

Hi,

Thanks for the concern, however, fortunately since I've now got a bigger tetra school, everyone's getting along just fine!

In fact as I staggered my the arrival of the fish, when there was only 4 tetras they seemed rather scared of the guppies!!

Your picture isn't showing. What kind of fish and how many of each do you have? What is your tank size too?

I love gouramis and over the years have had Dwarf Gouramis and most recently a Red Honey Gourami. I haven't had most success with them for the most part. I did have one live 1.5 years, but that is the longest. They are very beautiful fish though and extremely entertaining to watch. To me, they are one of those fish that have their own little personalities.
