I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on these fish. I was planning on outting them in my pond but I can't find any info on them. I know that they are cold water and are silver with a horizontal black stripe along their side.

Are you sure they are not the common Fathead Minnow? Can you post a picture?

Afraid not. They dont look like fat head minnows though, they are silver with a horizontal black stirp across them.

Can you give a more detailed description? Fathead minnows are also silver with a black stripe, and are by far the most common North American Cyprinid used as a feeder.
