Is it ok to feed the brine shrimp eggs to fish? Will they even bother to eat them?

Thanks!

I think the main purpose of the eggs is to hatch the shrimp to feed to baby fish. That having been said, I don't think most fish would eat the eggs, they're probably too small.

Yes I understand that they are suppose to be used for hatching. Though I fail at trying to do things such as that

I have some Threadfin Rainbow fish with very small mouths and throats and thought maybe this would be perfect for them if they would eat them.

I wouldn't feed brine shrimp eggs that have shells, as the shells aren't meant to be digested. However, decapsulated brine shrimp are meant for just this purpose, and (IME) work very very well. You can buy these, or make your own (not terribly hard, there are recipes online, just google for some). All the nutrition of the unhatched egg, none of the shell.

Also if you want to feed them the shell just buy them frozen instead they are soft and even my neon tetra can gulp 'em down

Does anyone have any real vivid instructions on hatching brine shrimp eggs? I don't have any airation for them such as an airstone, I just don't have any extra's laying around. I can barely raise snails with out them all dieing.

aeration is necessary for brine shrimp eggs because theyll clump together and not hatch without it

Ok, I'll get right on that!

What is it about the airation that helps them hatch?

To hatch Brine shimp you need not only continuos Areation, but continous movemnet of the eggs along with heat. Go to petfish.net to fine a very in depth description on how to hatch BBS.
