They aren't snail eggs,I have seen those before. I have never had any fish breed in my tank and I was just wondering if these are fish eggs. I'll try to post a pic. |

guppymax![]() Hobbyist Posts: 77 Votes: 0 Registered: 25-Dec-2004 ![]() | I have something that looks like eggs in my angel fish tank. They are on the underside of a sword leaf. I have never seen angel fish eggs but the angels are not interested in them and I thought angel fish eggs would be bigger. It could be snail eggs. I guess I have had the plants about two weeks so it could be almost anything. My camera takes such fuzzy pictures I doubt if they could be identified in a picture. Could it be part of the sword plant? There are no other fish in the tank, but I heard about some octopus climbing out of their tank and into another tank to eat crabs. They would climb back into their own tank every time. They got caught when the researchers video taped the tank at night. max max |

That will help us, and if you can get a pic. Max the eggs could have been from the angel since you did menshon they were on an amozon sword. See if you can find a pic of angel eggs on the web and compare to the eggs in your tank. ==fish1 |

They are not snail eggs because snail eggs are usually small and inbedded in a fluidish substance. There are much bigger than snail eggs and are white. |

Most common cories are quite easy to breed (hence the availability ) and they lay their eggs on tank walls, leaves, those sorts of flat surfaces. They'll come back around to eat them if you don't remove them.Guppymax - they could very well be angel eggs. For GREAT photos of what angel eggs look like, there's a thread in the Photo Booth called "Caught in the Act." If they are cory eggs than what should I do. I dont know what i would do with all of those cories if they did hatch. And i dont have another tank. I do have on of those breeding net things which i am keeping baby cardinals in right now. |

I would love to have some little cory's and I bet others would too. The pics are great. My "eggs" are not angel fish eggs. Mine are green looking like some sort of algae growing on the underside of the leaf maybe, about the size of the angel eggs. They are spread out more. max |

If they haven't done anything for a few days, go ahead and scrape 'em off and see if you can't siphon them out, or else that's just more organic matter that doesn't need to decay in your tank. guppy -- it could be algae.. i've seen little algae bubbles |

They cories will most likely breed again so be prepared for more eggs especially after water changes. ==fish1 |
