So everyone throw out ther favorite links and/or books, besides here, that describe how to start and finish a fishless cycle. The more simple and anal step-by-step the better. Like someone explaning it to a five year-old would probably be the best. The less guessing, like "why do you do that?" the better. Thank you. |

Steps: [font color="#008000"]1.[/font] Add Dechlorinator [font color="#008000"]2.[/font] Add X ammount of "Pure Ammonia" until it reads 5ppm [font color="#008000"]3.[/font] Continue to add X amount of ammonia daily [font color="#008000"]4.[/font] Reduce ammonia to half of X when nitrite spike occurs [font color="#008000"]5.[/font] Continue to add half of X daily [font color="#008000"]6.[/font] Once ammonia and nitrite becomes 0, do water change.
