I've just taken a look at the second aquarium after hearing lots of splashing noises emanating therefrom, and I think my Florida Flag Fish are spawning!

Unfortunately the male is camera shy, so I can't get any pictures of the activity, but I did see the male pursuing the female into some Java Moss, and what appeared to be a flurry of body shaking activity, so it's entirely possible that they ARE spawning ... the female looked fairly rotund prior to being pursued, and the male is continuing to pursue her as I type this ... he keeps quivering and holding his fins erect in front of her, before making more passes at her, but I can't see any eggs being produced at this stage ... anyone here witnessed these fishes spawning before and can confirm that what I am watching is spawning activity?

Bear in mind that they had a huge water change and gravel vac a couple of days ago, followed by a big feeding of live Daphnia and live Bloodworm, so that's probably going to be a significant factor in this too.

I have FFF and they spawn all the time. They are an easy fish for breading. If use a mop they will lay eggs in it, if you have a spawn tank set up with marbles they will scatter in the and if you have floating plant they will lay on the top of the water and go at it.
