I wouldn't think so, unless you have a huge Flying Fox and a tiny Neon Tetra. Flying Foxes are primarily herbivorous and I have never heard of them actively pursuing other fish to eat.

It is possible, however, that the Flying Fox's active and sometimes aggressive behavior is stressing the Neons out enough to kill them.

thanks one more thing he has red front fins and the tail has red down the edges and yellow in the middle and all the other fins are yellow as well is this normal he is not ill it is just i have never seen this colour combnation on one can some one help

Can you post a picture of the fish? The Flying Fox is one of many medium-sized Cyprinids that can be difficult to tell apart from related species.
