I'm going to the Peter Keiwit (SP?) Institute for a few days in August to try out a class that I want to take when I go there in 4 years

They were in the aquarium. Go past the penguins, thru the 850,000g shark/ray tank, and go around the turn to the right. There's the little area with a bunch of small tanks (10-30g or something) The Rhinopias was to the left of the stonefish I believe...on the top row...I think... it was in that area.

The frog and toadfish are in there too

How much was the Rhinopias? Because of their rarity, you got a treat just to be able to see one in person; I'm very jealous! I haven't ever seen one in person and I hope to some day... And they're the coolest fish I've ever seen too.

Today I saw BOTH Frogfish AND Toadfish!!! The toadfish was really scary and he was on a tank down on the floor, so I couldn't see him too well and I didn't watch him much...but the frogfish was really cool and I watched him for a while

Yep, they are 2 different fish. The frogfish was yellow...about 3 inches

BTW Shini I saw a Rhinopias (SP?) today too. His eyes were absolutely stunning...his pupils were like concave mirrors inside his head...it was the coolest fish I have ever seen

Freshwater Lionfish are brackish TOADfish. Toadfish are from a whole 'nother Order. Close, but not right.

So-called freshwater Lionfish are a brackish frogfish that grows to 10", are they not? I read that somewhere, I don't remember where.

Though some Frogfish can get nearly a foot, quite a few stay small; only around 3".

Perky, at least most Frogfish don't need a huge tank since they're not only small, but don't move around a lot.

Cool little guys. Related to Anglers, if I'm not mistaken. I'll stick with my Rhinopias, though!
