ive had a lot of tank problems of late (ive actually nearly killed a whole tank) due to the fact i overtreated them and there were too many chems in the water.
ive been posting on the hospial forum http://www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/thread.asp?id=43313
well i have left an african butterfly fish, two gouramis and one bristlenose. i just went down to the LFS and told the guy there my problem and he recommended geo liquid which i bought however have not added to my tank as want to hear other ppls experiences with it first..

so has anyone used it?
results?

The initial problem was too many chemicals, so the lfs advises to add another chemical.

Upon further research, I found exactly ONE thread on a obscure forum talking about how good the stuff was. That's it. Looking up the product, I see that it's got " mineral magic" written on the package. Further reading tells me that it contains microsensors that adjust the ph and water parameters for whatever fish it is you're keeping...ie Geo Liquid Discus...Geo liquid coral and inverts...geo liquid <insert name of fish here]. For a minute, lets pretend that this water buffer ( which it looks like that is what it is...a water buffer with minerals) IS magic...what does that have to do with your previous problem?

I suppose you could use it to buffer your water and what not, and add " minerals" that are already in your tap or well water, but natural ph buffers that you don't have to add to your tank every time you do a water change will perform the same function as far as I know ( peat in filter to lower ph and soften water, crushed coral in filter to raise ph and harden)

I have not seen it in the U.S. so can't give a proper critique, but if it were available in the U.S. I still couldn't because I wouldn't try it. I refuse to put anything in my tank that says "magic" on the package.

Summary - looks like another quick fix chemical to me, and I wouldn't suggest it.
