My paradise fish just killed my last cardnal tetra in the 5 1/2 gallon So he's gone now because I don't think I can trust him with my otto. So I'm left with an almost empty 5 1/2 gallon...which is fine by me
I think I'm going to get some guppies for that tank now, instead of getting guppies for my empty 3 gallon. I will also get a heater for this tank.
So now since I'm not having the guppies in the 3 gallon I want to get a pretty male crown-tail betta. If I can find a heater for this tank I will get one also.
So does this sound okay? I'm going to get a mix of female and male guppies because I want to breed them. I have 3 other small tanks lying around that the babies will be kept in. So I've got it all planed out now...

P.S. I'm going to heavily plant the 5 1/2 gallon so the babies have a better chance of surviving. None of my tanks are planted to this will be new to me!!!

Uggg...even more bad news. My 50 gallon coldwater tank just came down with ICK. I'm treating it right now...I have no clue how it got in there though, I havn't added any new additions.

Have there been any temperature fluctuations? That will often cause ich outbreaks.

Get guppies for the 5gallon tank. You can put the babies in the 3gallon pretty soon after birth. Make sure there is some cover so the guppies wont eat all the babies. Live plants such as hornwort work quite well

Yep, I'm getting guppies for the 5.5 gallon. The 3 gallons going to a betta though. I have some extra tanks laying around that I'll use for the babies. I also have a few breeder nets.
Hmmm...I'm not too sure about the temp. Wait, I did add 3 cories a few weeks ago...darn.
