hi

i have like a big pink ball in the bottom of my tank. The tank has gravel in it is wat the pink thing is on. and is at the bottom of one of my plants roots. It is pink with red small dots in it. Are these eggs. I have in my tank 1 male dwarf gourami, 1 flying fox, 15 neon tetras, 9 false halaquins, 3 shrimps, 5 danios. Could it be snail eggs that have just like been lit up.
Does any one know wat it might be

Eggs but exactly what I don't know. Not shrimp and the fish are usually egg scatterers so doesn't sound like that. I would guess it has to be some type of snail. What snails do you have in your tank?

No it's not bloodworm eggs because bloodworms are actually a larvae and not the adult form so cannot reproduce until they grow up. Do your applesnails have flat spiral shells? Like these guys http://applesnail.net/content/marisa.htm Marisa eggs are the first thing I thought of when I read your post.
