Well there's little way of fixing a bad acclimation process. Young fish especially wont handle transport very well. They were stressed and therefore pale from transport I hope you @least opened the bag before walking off on them. If it is just a bad acclimation they're suffering from I'd suggest keeping the tank lights off and not feeding the tank fully for the next few days.

And in the future, please dont EVER shake the bag .

small snails to feed, and some bloodworms maybe... in time they'll adjust to more non-live foods.. babel's right, you're gonna have to wait this one out. A bad acclimation/shock is tough for little fish, so just pray.

First off, calm down.

Second, keep the lights off, make sure you're water quality is okay.

Give them live food till they adjust, then wean them off it. It should help them settle in easier. Tim's suggestions will do nicely, snails are a favorite with these guys.

Good Luck, let us know what happens.

Good morning Baby, or so I'm hoping it is for you...Hopefully the babies are doing better this morning... But, since you mentioned that you didn't know anything about the dwarf puffers, and now you are in desperate need of information...Here's some sites to help you out while you wait, with the lights out...

Well, I hope one of those will be of some help...Best wishes, Heidi
