Hello, My name is Jose. I'm from Lima, Perú. I'm new to this forum. I have 2 55g at home. One is a tropical Freshwater and the other coldwater where i keed my goldfish In my tropical i have all kinds of tropical fishies including angels and all kinds of tetras.

You have no Idea how many kinds of fish we have in Peru.
It must be because we are so close to the Amazon River.
... And Also Pirahnas are Perectly legal if you dare to keep them

Please excuse my bad english.

P.S

i just made a web site were people can upload their pictures ( No Size Limit ).

It also has a search engine where people can list their Aquarium personal sites.

My goal is to list as many cool fish sites by common users (like me) in an easy directory.

Here is my site :

First let me say WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

Next let me say, yes there are soooooo many nice fish from where you live. I love the SA fishs.

Which Lima are you from? On the coast, by Callao?

I have been collectin in Brazil, Equador, and Honduras. I have not been to Peru yet, but it is in my plans in the next few years. Have to keep in touch, maybe you can show me some of the best collecting sites when I come there.

Hi i live in department of Lima in the City of Lima.
My uncle has an Autopart Store and next to it is a Fish Store. Since they're good neighboors and friends, sometimes i get REALLY good deals. For example neons, they usually sell them at S/.50 soles thats like 15 American Cents for each one. I get them for S/0.20 or a little more than 5 american cents. Now Thats a good deal.
Cheers

Dude, you are frickin' lucky to live in Peru.

Is that coldwater tank really coldwater? Don't you live in a tropical enough place that the tanks don't have to be heated anyway? I'm sorta confused.

Well, not really, Lima's weather is not as hot.The Average temperature is around 60 degrees F. I say its perfect for goldfish, not too cold, not too hot.
