They are good jumpers, though, and might not get along with each other. That's about all I know. |

A visual desc The most common species I've seen is the striped headstander (Anostomus anostomus) which attains a length of about 7 inches. They require a hefty vegetarian diet, so prepare to see some damage on fragile leafed plants if their requirements aren't met. Like many fish, they will try other aquarium fare as well. As far as aggression, they are kinda like tiger barbs in the sense that in small groups they are very aggressive toward each other and other species. However, in decent sized schools of at least 6, their aggression tends to be more subued. |
