Hi there,

Im just wondering if you guys could suggest any fish that are tolerant of heat? My place has no insulation and room teperature is usually over 31*C.

Any thoughts?

Depends on whether you can keep that temperature consistant or not. Theres quite a few fish that live in desert rivers and pools where the temperature often exceeds that. Even some rams and cichlids can tolerate it that high, but you have to ensure that the fish you are buying came from the part of their range where temperatures get that hot. I would also buy as large a tank as possible to make sure you avoid any temperature peaks happening rapidly. This might be a good time for you to check out some of your native species.
