My arowana and oscars have been strange lately after I added in its new tank mate. A 5' pacu and 3' green terror. They refuse to eat hikari chichlid pellet, even resisting the temptation of frozen bloodworms. They come up to the top and look to the top and swim down They all are active but just won't eat. Please Help.

A five foot pacu and a three foot green terror? I'd be too scared to eat too.

I'm not sure if you meant inches or what, but not being familiar with those type of fish anyway, all I can really say is that at least on the fish I have, soaking their food in garlic extract helps prod finnicky fish to eat.

Seachem makes a couple different products like this, and I'm sure there are others as well. http://www.seachem.com/products/product_pages/Entice.html

Um, you do know that pacus get big, right? Over 3 feet long. And arowanas get to be 3 1/2 feet long, too. So, even with a 200 gal tank you are eventually going to have some issues with that tank. Oh, and expect some comments from others about having a pacu and an arowana at all-a lot of us feel that they should not be allowed to be sold to begin with. Pacus can get easily spooked and break your tank... they are supposed to be very strong. Just a few things to think about before these guys get too big and you start to have problems. I would strongly suggest rethinking your stocking and perhaps returning the pacu and arowana. Good luck.
