Cories are a definite. Looked up Angel Fish, they seem cool. Also, I really dig the tiger barb suggestion from the Nigel Tufnel fan. I'm still sorting things out with the tank; tomorrow will be a very busy day with getting the 40 gallon to start cycling. Thanks again; anyone wishing to add a comment, please do so.

You could have a pair of angelfish in there, and two small cory schools, or a large one. Other stuff will fit too, but those are just starters, and my faves.
