LOACHESRCOOL Enthusiast Posts: 206 Kudos: 215 Votes: 0 Registered: 27-Apr-2005 | I recently invested in a senegal Bichir and i was wondering how good does my tank need to me sealed.... My lids are both weighed down. But there is a gap where my HOB is so that the water can flow back into the aquuarium..do i need to seal this as well? If so...how? Thanks in Advance |

Oh, and you're advised to use plastic instead of glass as the intervening "cover glass", because if they break the plastic, they won't cut themselves on sharp edges. One possible solution to the HOB problem is to obtain a sheet of acrylic plastic or similar, drill holes for the intake and output tubing etc., and fit that to cover the gap. |
