| How can my ammonia, NitrItes and NitrAtes still be at 0 after 5 weeks??!!!?? | |
fishygirl68![]() Hobbyist Posts: 97 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Jul-2004 ![]() | I am completely confused, (or maybe very stupid) I'm not sure how my Ammonia, NitrItes and trAtes can still be at 0 after 5 weeks with 5 neons, 1 goldfish & a frog have been living in there? I did have some white sandstone type rocks in there I removed, wasn't sure what they were when I put them in hope that wasn't too big of a mistake. Can someone please explain this to me?ps thought I should mention, I've been getting my lfs to test my water for me, I don't have a test kit yet. fishygirl68![]() Hobbyist Posts: 97 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Jul-2004 ![]() | The tank is 10 gallons. I have an AquaClear 150 running, with charcoal and Ammo-rid filter. Whoops...maybe the ammo-rid filter is causing trouble. Would it still be doing it's job after 5 weeks? Or would it be a bed for bacteria now? |
