How do you get a Dojo loach out of a 46 bowfront tank? | |
oldpro Fingerling Posts: 31 Kudos: 18 Votes: 8 Registered: 27-Nov-2006 | He's been in there for about 4 weeks, and has chosen his hiding places well... There were 2 in the tank at first, but i caught one with the bottle and food trick. Tried to catch the other one with the same trick, but cant. Any body got some ideas on how to catch this under water Houdini ? "I am who I am, and who I am is who I want to be." -Kasey Carter |

Use larger nets, and try and get green nets (they look like plants to them) with fairly large mesh. Fish have sensory pores on their bodies to detect the minute pressure wave in front of nets when they're pushed around in water, so try and go slow. Making a whirlpool trying to play catch only ruins any plants you have, and will only serve to stress out you and more importantly, your fish. Go slow, have patience, and try and get them from behind. They're easier to catch if you know how to do it. |

Stopped the flow as soon as I sucked him up . |
