	How to use a hospital tank
Week End Big Fish Posts: 414 Kudos: 436 Votes: 1 Registered: 16-May-2004	Everytime I use hosptial tank for treatment...the fish will die the next day. lol.... I use water from my main tank, filter media like substrates from main tank's filter, set heater temperature the same as my main tank...so virturally it is a small copy of my main tank...but still the fishes die the next day..any comments?

Maybe the fish are sick and the added stress of being netted?

fry Enthusiast Posts: 243 Kudos: 195 Votes: 3 Registered: 27-Jul-2004	i think you should disinfect the tank before reusing it. some of the buggers that kill fish are rather resiliant. it doesn't explain the swift death, as getting sick takes time. how big is the hospital tank, and how big are your fish?
