| Hydra in my tank? | |
bayoubuddy![]() Fingerling Posts: 32 Kudos: 22 Registered: 16-Jun-2004 ![]() | I have a 20 gallon freshwater tank with 1 full grown male auratus. (he's black and purple actually, kinda cool) My water has been getting cloudy quite often and my Local Pet Store guy suggested some fizzy tabs for algae. I did that. Two days later I notice these tiny whiteish spots on the walls of my tank, which seem to be Swaying in the breeze. Another Fish guy told me that they could be hydra and asked me all these questions about my tank, saying they only lived in high quality water. He also said it probably wouldn't hurt my fish. I have also noticed, what looks to be like a few small worms (at first i thought it was a piece of tiny cat hair...until it started to crawl up the glass) Anyone know what these are, if its dangerous, and what my next step should be? Thanks all, Bayou |
