i wouldnt even take the risk of adding the male with the female bettas.

Fancy guppies can go either way. i personal have never had a problem but i have seen videos of bettas not tolerating them.

But i wouldnt take the risk regardless of tank size or plant ammount.

Im gonna say no , but not for the reason you might expect. A betta is no match for your average killie in a fight.Killies have quite large mouths proportionately, and if attacked by a betta they may return fire, and the betta will probably lose badly. Killies ara bit like rainbows, when it comes to other fish, they dont forget a face, and once aggreived , they hold a grudge. Killies will be timid with fish much bigger than they are, but againsta betta you might find them warming up the combat skills.

I think you can try them, but watch them closely. If the betta goes for the killies , better move him, for his sake.
