Is that bidsite supposed to be cheap?

Unfortunately rainbows aren't very commonly seen in lfs around here. I've occasionally seen Boesemanis and praecox but no others.

I really appreciate all the replies and ideas

I wouldn't buy threadfins locally unless you find a really good store. They don't seem to do well in lfs tanks and usually succumb to ich. Plus places that get them in regularly charge a fortune. $12 per fish here. For some reason they ship great and acclimate great to an established tank at home but the lfs that likes to carry them has tried 4 different sources and always had trouble with them after the first few days they are there. I think they get stressed out from the somewhat bare tanks, crowded conditions, and all the commotion and people going by everyday. I got some of mine off aquabid, some were from azgardens when I did my only fish order from them but their shipping is too high for me to suggest that source, and I can't remember the last site. I never lost any of those. Then a local store got in a bunch of them without even knowing what they were so they sold them for only $3 each and I bought 3 more.

liveaquaria.com is selling both threadfins and celebes, but as of this morning, only the celebes were in stock, so you may want to check them out.

I still haven't decided There's a good fs about an hour from here with a great selection of fish, I think I need to set aside some time for a drive...
