	Identify This Algae (PIc inside)?!

It's something organic in nature decayin' a little bit, and will do no harm to your fish. You can pull it off if you'd like, but chances are it will come back, until whatever is breaking down is gone.

bensaf Fish Master Posts: 1978 Kudos: 1315 Registered: 08-Apr-2004	Yeah, it's a type of fungus. Quite common on driftwood. Exactly as Fallout said, it will disappear by itself in a couple of weeks. If it's bugging you you can pull it out. Completely harmless and won't spread beyond the driftwood. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.
