F1sh Fingerling Posts: 26 Kudos: 12 Votes: 5 Registered: 30-Dec-2007 | It is a sad day in the aquarium world of F1sh the Dwarf Gourami known as Alvin has left us all Alvin was a good fish, never bothering anyone, and would always keep the leftovers off the bottom and then the silent killer known as fin rot came into Alvin's world despite several doses of Melafix and a few salt bathes, Alvin just lost the will to live so let's all take a moment in our lives today to remember Alvin Alvin, this one's for you/:' -a solidary predator, the firetruck stalks its prey |

I think I might've mentioned this before, but the Asian Upside Down Catfish grows too large for your tank and will never play nice. Also, as you found, it will make bite-size tankmates disappear; bite-size of course grows with the size of the catfish, and will eventually be rather large indeed. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
