That we bought a stocking for our fish??

We have one for each of our cats with their names on them... on the new stocking I simply put "Fishies."

We just had to do something, they are members of our family now...

Our tank: 45 gallons
7x Cardinal Tetras 7x Black Neon Tetras
7x Glowlight Tetras 2x Ottos 2x Ghost Shrimp 3x Spotted Corys 3x Panda Corys

Well, I wouldn't do it, but I don't so why you shouldn't. I know that most folks with dogs or cats seem to always put out Christmas Stockings for them, so I guess your other "pets" deserve the same treatment.

I like the idea that you have a stocking for your fish. It shows you're still very interested in them, therefore you're probably still taking good care of them.

I'm just curious as to what Santa is going to bring them?

Thats awesome.

Alot of the stuff I'm getting for Christmas is for my fish tanks...but its too big to put in a stocking. I just bought them all kinds of presents too, so they don't really need a stocking.

But I thinks its awesome that you did. They should be happy little fish now./:'

Yeah, me too. Is it just me or does half the stuff on my "List" have to do with fish?

Cool! I was just thinking last night that people will think I am nuts to put up a stocking for my fish. We are just this year putting them up for our dog and cats but I was debating on the fish. It is decided now. Thanks

I don't have a stocking for the fish, but we do have one for the dog, and maybe the cats (can't remember right now). It reminds me of something I read a couple years ago that, on average, Americans spend more money buying Christmas gifts for pets than for children. I'm not sure if it's true, but it certainly is an interesting thought.
