| Is this what might have happened? | |

And sure enough, the floor was wet. I had a laundry bag near the tank (I was planning to do laundry)that seemed to have soaked up most of the water. The tube that goes in the air bubble machine (the proper name escapes me at the moment) had water in it. I was half asleep when my bf asked me if the water level was that low last night so I can't remember everything he said. He mentioned something about the cat knocking over the air pump and a lamp. I think he said he pulled the tube out and went to bed (it was probably making noise again). I looked on the floor and the pump is still there. So this is what I think may have happened. When he pulled the tube out, the air pump was on the floor, so that means he probably left the tube on the floor. I think the water must have siphoned out and down the tube. Does this seem plausible? |

They even sell things (now I lost the word for these things ) that keep the water from backing up into your air pump through the hose because it's a fairly common problem. Set up the air pump and hose as if they were new (make sure to get all the water out of the hose first) and they should work fine. Oh yeah, make your b/f sop up all the spilled water too...![]() PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread. |
