Im going to have sea weed growing a couple bits a live rock and some hermits(are these okey) it will be in a 33gallon tank with a power head and a fluval 3+ for water movment and filteration . My salinaty is going to be 1.019-1.021 will this be okey for this type of puffer? For wood it will get cockils and snails 2-3 times a week with brine shrimp and mysis shrimp ect. will do 10% weekly water chages for him/her. I was looking into another type of puffer as well the 'Dog faced puffer' for the porupin puffer could i get these puffer in a 33? or is it one or the other? i would like a couple of puffer is possible. i CANT upgrade untill i get my own house (im only 13)!!!! Occurs over open barren areas, also among corals and under ledges. Often found in pairs, sometimes in small groups. Feeds mainly on filamentous red and green algae and coralline red algae but also on corals, tunicates, mollusks, echinoderms, polychaetes, crustaceans and bryozoans. Grows to 4 1/2". |
