I've got a couple questions, i read a little while ago about ppl keeping log books or spread sheets on their tanks, I didnt know that ppl even did this sort of thing and when i found out i thought it was abit too much like hard work for me lol BUT i think that i could possibly be expecting some fry from my bolivian rams so i guess it might actually be quite useful to take notes etc

What sort of things should i be looking to record?

I've actually set up my webcam right next to the spot where one of them is diggin so the results from that could be really interesting!?

I think im going to look at hatching my own brine shrimp, probably as this link details http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/diy_brineshrimp_hatchery.php

Does anyone have any experience with brine shrimp? anything i should know?

I'm probably gettin well a head of myself and nothing will come from the rams, but should i look at buying a extra tank to raise the fry? I havent got a lot of cash, (its christmas lol) but i also have no room in my tank for fry...

What size tank should i look for?

Im sure there was something else i wanted to ask but i've forgotten now...

You should record any breeding activity. Feed your rams frozen or live brine shrimp to help them get ready for breeding. THe babies will grow quickly on bbs. You can record what you are feeding the water paremiters etc etc,

A great place to start a logbook is right here at FP !
You can keep info on 2 tanks but in Calendar you can put whatever misc. info you want on anything. Once you're a paid member can keep info on more tanks

Once I discovered these 2 things in this site,
I was really impressed, speaking of which, its been awhile since I added any notes in there. Time to test the nitrates again....
