He is now about 7-8" long and VERY thick! He has such a huge appetite. Anyone ever kept one of these and does anyone know how big they get? He has his own cave which he is in all day long and hunts at night. However, today I noticed him inside the middle of one of my fake plants, vertical, with his head down and tail up in the air. He has done this about three times today! Anybody know why he would do this? ![]() |

I have four (the only fish I own that scare me..at least since they hit 20cm)...they do the heads-down thing all the time, although usually in the corners. They get to about 35cm (14" ), and apparently have a nasty bite, so watch your fingers when feeding. Last edited by Toirtis at 27-Oct-2004 01:29 |
