I have four pearl danios, I got them from a friend and he told me that they have had babies before. I do believe that 3 of them are boys and there is one girl. They are kind of see through if there's light behind them and I noticed today that you can see darkness in the area of the female's tummy. Also, she is getting very moody, she chases the heck out of the other boys but doesnt bother the other species of fish. Could this mean that she's getting ready to have babies? I've never had a fish have babies before so If anyone could please let me know what I should do if she is in fact going to have babies. PLease let me know, thanks so much.

Female danios do not have babies...they lay eggs. So what you are seeing is not fry inside of her, she may however be full with eggs meaning she is ready to spawn.

It would be best to move them to there own tank to spawn in. The other fish in the main tank will eat the eggs. After they spawn though, you will need to remove the parents because they too will eat the eggs. Good luck
