ok i've been going crazy lately trying to figure out what kinda fishes to add.. but heres the lineup

150g (72long X 18wide X 28high)

6 angels (bodys bout 1 1/2 tall, 5-7 inches in height)
7 zebra danios
2 Yoyo Loaches (just over an inch)
4 Clown loaches (1 1/2 to 3 inches long)
3 red tail black sharks (bout 4 inches)
2 Opaline Gourami (4 inches)
3 Kuhli Loachs (2 inches)
2 Rams ( 3/4 inch)
1 Tiger Pleco (5 inches)
1 Zebra Pleco (3 inches yellow/black body)
1 Chinese Algea eater (3 1/2inches)

i have no problems with any species not getting along, just the usual interspecies issues that will happen.

I already plan on adding at least 6 more clowns, and i'm waiting on a local shop to get in a Whiptail Pleco (whiptail catfish).

i'm running dual filters and could handle up to around 500g

any ideas? thought about neons as there is alot of hiding places and even tho neons and angels dont get along, they would be the size of the zebras. Also thought about about a dozen Black Skirt Tetras.

Oh to have a 150 gal tank......sweet!

How about leopard danio's instead of the zebra's.
I find the leopards have more character and fun with one another.

For algae clean up, I'd go with a gold ancistrus or two or three. Having two myself(one a long fin) and seeing it for myself, they are algae eating kings!

$.02

Cheers

Might want to remove the Chinese Algae eater before it does some serious damage to a 400 dollar fish.

CAE has been in there for 6 months and he never goes near anybody... but which one of my fish is worth 400? cause most i paid for any of them was $50 for the zebra pleco.

only time i had problem with him, was when he was in the 55g and other smaller CAE's was in there and he'd chase them all over

He's not quite there yet. Wait until he's 4 - 5 inches.
You Angels will easily be the victims of the body slime sucking CAE..

CAE's are aggressive but in that size tank you can try it in there and see. It may not bother any fish ( too much ), but keep an eye on it. As for adding 6 more Clown Loaches I'm not sure if thats a good idea as they get huge ( yes it does take a long time ) and having 10 even in a 150 gallon is a bit much.

With fish lie RTB's around, youll probably never see those kuhlis.

Probably as in ever.

I could lose a plec in a well decorated 120, in fact I have an 8 inch doradid I never see in a 120.

the cae's pretty much topped out, he hasnt grown any in months. as far as the khuli's, they are very active, i'm actually lookin at them now.

well if the cae's do that, this guy better be tough, my angels are starting to pair up and claim spots and tear after anybody they dont like

A full grown h. zebra goes for 400 bucks. Seeing as how the CAE is only 3", he still has a great deal of time to develop an aggressive streak.

*There's a difference between how mch you paid and how much they are worth. My zebra trio was purchased for a meager 150 (so approximately, the same as you paid for your fish), but by them time I sold them, they were worth about 350 a piece, and now, more.

I think it might be one of those "false" Zebra Plecos available, based on the description that was given ("3 inches yellow/black body").

yes, its not a true white/black zebra. once i heard what the prices was on that, i knew there was no way i would touch one of them. but yes its another strain of the zebra species.
