Another part of the problem though is just plain old algae. My sword used to have a lot more leaves, but they were all covered in algae, and eventually, the leaves just turned brown and died. I have found that they like a good root fert. and flourish excel. I did use API Leaf Zone, but I didnt see much of a difference in my plants after I stopped using it(possibly because of the carbon in my filter). The next time I go to my LFS, though, I will look for some Flourish. I would suggest a backround of some kind so that it keeps the attention IN the tank I was thinking the same. What color background do you think would look best in my setup? |
