I am going to be moving a cross town in about a month. I have 5 tanks set up right now.

2-55G
1-40G
1-20G
1-2G

To make things a litte tricker I am not going to be around for about a week and a half after I finish moving. (Honeymoon!)

Here is what I am thinking right now. I have a 15G back home and the 20G that I could set up and use as storage tanks in the new place. I am also thinking of using a rubber made tub or two. Get the fish over in the new place in the storage tanks and then move the other tanks. Reset them back up and add the fish after a couple of days. Then talk really nice to one of my co-workers and have them fish sit while I am gone.

My biggest worry is for my planted tank that I have put tons of work into. http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/threads/4916.7.htm?175#
I don't really want to compleatly tear it down but I might have to just to get the fish out. Unless I can find a small army to help me move it with some water still in it.

Any ideas to make my life easeir would be great!

Get one of those plastic storage bin or a clean trash can. Save all the gravel, plants, filter media, etc.stick the container in the back of a pickup truck or car. Take the empty tank and set it up in the new location and re-add the fish, gravel, plants, filter and you should be fine. You can do more than one tank it you can tranport them but since its only across town you can make multiple trips.

Good Luck...
