Wow, lots of stuff going on here.

First, congrats on the new tank

Since there are fish in there now I assume it's been cycled fully

As for the filtration, you should be fine. Biowheels do their job, but if the tank is in a bedroom the flapping sound of the water running over them I've foudn to be a little annoying.

In terms of fish, all those listed would appreciate lots of plants. It probably doesn't matter what kinds, but they'll appreciate the added greenery.

Stocking is up to you really, as long as the tank is cycled. personally I prefer a big school of one type of fish over small schools of many types of fish, but to each his own.

Keep us posted.

ye im with nhm on that one. 1 or 2 large schools look so much better than lots of little ones, trust.

Again i hope that tanks gone through its cycle, because pandas are fairly sensitive to nitrates let alone nitrite and ammonia.

personnaly id go with the rummynose and the black neon schools, nice contrasting colours.

As far as i know some black skirts can get a bit fin nippy so i wouldnt combine then with the angels.

anyways have fun deciding

i agree with the other posts go with 1 or 2 shoals.

i've got 3 shoals in my 72g and i would perfer one large

i'd go for one large shoal of rummies

neons- might have trouble with your angels snacking on them so be carefull with them - if getting the angels really small and they grow up with the neons it could be ok.

if you want 2 shoals i would try rummies with Hariquin rasbora, because the harries swim out in the open alot more then the rummies who will stay closer the the bottom and the plants.

good luck and remember to stock the tank slowly.

If you're going with 2 shoals of Tetra's, i suggest that 1 of them will be Rummynose Tetras. Really beautiful & schooling fish.

Yeah I seeded the tank with water from my other tanks, and used the filters from my other tank, and just transferred my pandas over. the nitrates and ammonia are with in the right parameters and i used a product called cycle and that have been using for years. and with all the tests everything checked out okay. had to give the zebras danios back to my friend thought they were nice little fish.

and the pandas have been in there for 2 days and so far so good!

what do yo guys think about the marbled hachet fish?
