Here is my new tank. Well what it will look like when I have set it up.

My question now is how much gravel should I put in it??

It depends .

If you're going with live plants they need 2-3" of substrate.

No live plants you dont need much more than an inch.

A good way to measure is 1.5lbs of gravel for everything gallon for a planted tank it should be around 2.5lbs of gravel.

Thanks.

I got some black yesterday about 20 KG. They said that that should be enough but I don;t think so. Oh well will just have to wash it and wait till I can set it up to see if it is going to be enough.

I think another bag should do it.
