	Mystery Puffer
puffer_archer Enthusiast Posts: 288 Kudos: 250 Votes: 4 Registered: 20-Jul-2004	So, I went into one of my LFS today and they had a new puffer. They called it the neon green puffer. I tried to get a scientific name, but of course, no one knew. So, it's description is: Size: 2-3" (no idea on full size) Color: white stomach with solid green/yellow body. The interesting thing I noticed about them was that they were not torpedo shaped like most puffers...they had more of a standard fish shape. Anyway, I was wondering what their scientific name is and general care. Oh, on a side note, they were in with Two spot puffers.

I believe they are brackish and grow in the 6" area. I'm sure someone (pufferpunk) will come along with more info for you. Jason

I was going to edit my post to say I found it...but.. Anyway, thanks for all the help. While I have a post going, I was wondering what you all would recommend as the minimum tank size for a Ceylon Puffer? I was thinking that I had read somewhere recently that 30 is the reccomended minimum. [span class="edited"][Edited by puffer_archer 2004-09-01 17:18][/span]
