-.- finally stocked and polished off my 55, but it just seems like a lot >.<

I would like to adjust the stocking to fit another blue ram in, but the two large schools I have currently just seem like too much...

Suggestions?

Current Stocking:
7 Serpae Tetras
9 Tiger Barbs
4 Ottos
1 Guppy --> pregnant and moving to 10 gallon
2 Blue Rams (both female, want to add a male)
4 Julii Cories --> bumping school up to 6 after adjusting stock

Plenty of room, go ahead and add your ram And get that guppy out of there even if it wasn't pregnant, the serpaes and tiger barbs'll nip at it

The only fish the serpaes or barbs bothered was the Betta I had in there for a while, they don't pay any attention to the guppy at all

That is a beautiful tank you have there. I like the way that the substrate brings out the colors in your trops. I don't think that one 2.5 inch Ram is going to throw things out of whack and will add more fun.

Nice tank you got sitting there, but man would a background ever work wonders for it!! The landscaping is gorgeous, but the fish are hard to really be captured without the dark background of aqualife. Just a suggestion though; to each his own!

You've got room in there. If you want, you could add two male rams to make two pairs. There is enough space in a 55 gallon tank for each pair to have its territory.

Two male rams it is then.

And no, without the background the tank looks awesome in the kitchen ^_~ I can see how the background may look good when I'm just photographing the tank, but overall its nice without one

If they do, it will be more of a stand-off than an actual fight. I wouldn't worry about it happening, as German rams are usually a pretty peaceful cichlid. You may run into a pugilistic specimen here and there, but they are well-mannered for the most part.
