	New 15gal
ihavegills Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 0 Registered: 09-Oct-2004	Right, i have a new 15gal tank right now with one lonesom betta. What other fish do you think would get along with my betta? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

lifeofcrimeguy Enthusiast Posts: 230 Kudos: 265 Registered: 12-Jan-2004	there are a lot of fish that would be fine with a betta. personally ive kept various mollies platys and guppies. neons black widows, red tail/rainbow/albino shark. gouramis. various other tetra should be fine aswell as the cories ofcourse what i wouldnt put in there are fin nippers like tiger barbs.

They are both nonaggressive fish, the tetras would get along with the betta just fine, and the cories would eat up any leftover food at the bottom of the tank, as well as provide you with entertainment. If you are diligent with your tank maintenance (meaning you change the water/vacuum the gravel weekly), you could add both, as long as the cories were a smaller variety.
