New 30+ gal tank! Ideas | |
FinFancier07 Fingerling Posts: 16 Kudos: 7 Registered: 07-Feb-2006 | Hi all, I might be getting a new tank, poss 30 or 50 gal or something in the middle. Would love to have angels, gouramies (saw honey gouramies at the store, they were so cute!), platies, etc. What would look really nice? Going for mostly medium size fish, nothing too small. |

There is also some very large tetras such as buenos aires tetras. If they look small to you, probably because they are juveniles. There also peaceful dwarf cichlids such as Apistos and Rams. You also get some larger plecos with a tank that size. But not too big, a common pleco I think would be too big. You could also get catfish. There is also large size cories such as Emerald cories. Angles get to be big though eventually I believe? There is also some larger Cyprinids that are peaceful. There is also loaches such as the yo yo loach and if you want some thing bigger than that, there is the clown loach |

Here's what I'm thinking... 2 honey gourami 1 blue or opaline gourami -- or an angel fish 2 cherry barbs 4-5 smallish cories 3-5 platies Would that look ok? Any ideas are welcome! I'm open to any other cool fish suggestions. Anything colorful! |
