Just recently aquired a 50g tank. Started to cycle it and when thats finished and my fish are well (currently suffering from white spot)am planning on transfering some of them over into the 50g. I was after after some advice on what else to stock with the fish i am planning to transfer.

planning on adding

6 Cories
2 plecs (ancistrus)
6 neon tetras

You need a centre peice fish.
Gouramis, Rams, Keyholes, Angels are all options.

I'd bump the neons up to 8, safety in numbers with these guys IMO.

As PJ said, a centerpiece fish would be nice. But be careful with angels, they've been known to munch on little neons if they're big enough. Any ideas on what you'd like to have? Best bet is to take a trip down to your LFS and tank browse. When you find something you like, write it down, and we can try to help stock the tank with you according to that. HTH

With that sized tank you could add another school if you're interested, maybe a different tetra or some sort of rasbora or barb.

A centerpiece fish depends on what you like and what's available to you locally.

Not that keen on Angles anyway. i think i like the idea of gouramis, but i also like that idea of another school of tetras. i really like the silver tipped tetras
