Here is my 63 Us gal tank

currently housing

- 6 panda corries
- 16 belted barbs

(hope the link works ok)

Anywho - im looking for another shoal of fish that will bring some nice colour and will mostly swim high up in the water, preferably high activity levels aswell. Any ideas? dont really mind what type of fish it is, aslong as it wont harm my plants and other fish.

And im also looking for ideas on a centrepeice fish - maybe a small shoal of something?

any ideas would be great

Hi..well you could have a small shoal of gold barbs..they are colorful
And some Harlequin Rasboras..
And maybe some rams like german or blue rams.
What about bottomfeeder?..a Bn or ottos are nice too...

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

As centerpiece fish, you could have a pair of angelfish. They don't come much better than that.
A very cool-looking top-dwelling schooling fish is the hatchetfish. Though they don't have much for color (just silver), they are interesting fish, and they are almost always at the top of the tank. Just some ideas, I hope they will help you.

Everyone suggests angelfish for centerpiece fish... i'd say go with a trio of congo tetras

I'd love to see pictures of your fish. I have belted barbs as well but don't often hear of too many other people that do.

I agree that harlequins would be a nice, colorful schooler. Exclamation point rasboras are very small but another colorful schooler ([link=http://www.myfishtank.net/freshwaterprofiles.php?profile=157]http://www.myfishtank.net/freshwaterprofiles.php?profile=157" style="COLOR: #FFFFC0[/link])

With angels you have quite a few choices as far as colors. Pearl gouramis would also be a nice centerpiece fish. I like congo tetras too, not sure if they do well in a trio though, that would be something to look into.

I would go with a gold nugget/snowball/leopard leo/vampire pleco if I were you . In my experience, congos and pandas don't mix well . A trio of them would be fine if you happen to get a few that aren't so nippy--they aren't exactly tight shoalers anyways.
