Hello there, I have recently started a new Tropical Fish Tank which takes 30 litres of water.

I have at the moment only 4 neon tetras (the 5 guppies died).

What else can I put in the tank which are compatible with neon tetras? And how many can I buy at any one time.

Regards

LT

Honestly not much else....thats' about 8 gallons US, which will be rather difficult to maintain. You won't be able to add any other fish that is a schooling fish, you'd need to keep whatever you did add under 2" adult sized. If the tank is [link=cycled]http://www.fishprofiles.net/faq/begin-cycling.asp" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] your only choices would be to add a few more neons depending on your nitrAte readings, or maybe a snail if the tank is not planted.

you might be able to go with a betta, however most dont' really like the water movement caused by the filters. Really though, since the neons need a school you could gradually increase their numbers to around 10 or so depending on the nitrAte numbers.
